The workouts she give you are very productive. There are 3 levels and each it comprised of a short warm up and then a 18 minute strength, Cardio, Ab combo. I like that she combines several muscle groups working at one time to get the most out of the workout.

5 Stars Excellent workout
The 30 Day Shred is an excellent workout. Only 20 minutes, but every minute is used to the fullest. I’m not a beginner, but it took almost a month to work up to level 2. I would recommend this workout to a person that doesn’t mind sweating and only has 20 minutes to spend on exercise.

4 Stars Great Cardio!
I have done Debbie Siebers Slim in Six which was a good workout but focused too much on the thighs. Jillian’s dvd is a great cardio workout. I do feel that there should be more abs, and more specification on what weight to use (3lb, 5lb etc…) I hate waiting on the intro to finish, and I add a lot more stretching when I am done with the workout. Other then those little flaws this gives an excellent overall workout routine, that will get you in shape. It seems really hard at first, but after a few days your endurance will be way up!

Jillian will kick your hinnie in these workouts. They are very good workouts and level 1 left me out of breath and I felt like I got a great workout.

I found these workout tough! But that’s what I wanted! I need something to kick me into shape and this is it!! I think I’m in great shape and went straight to Level 3 but that killed me and I had to go back to Level 2 the next time!! Awesome awesome!! I love Jillian!

1 Star AWFUL – condesendinig blather
This workout is highly disappointing. These girls are obviously not fitness instructors, the worst part about this workout is the complete lack of cueing. They go from move to move with a countdown, but only once or twice do they tell you what move you’ll be doing next. The way they act, you can tell they’re taking cues from someone off-screen, I have to assume it’s an instructor, to which I say put THAT person on screen and have these girls do the workout and add commentary. Not that the commentary is good, mind you, it’s not. Don’t waste your time on this one.

4 Stars A fun interval workout
I have done this workout three times now. It is a beginner level and would probably not be intense enough for intermediate or advanced exercisers, but I worked full out and felt great but not exhausted. I love the graceful, full body movements — non-dancey, yet fluid. This workout has no “dread factor” for me — it covers all the bases of an interval workout, but the girls don’t lecture are enjoying themselves, and that made *me* enjoy myself. The lack of instruction isn’t a problem if you are familiar with the moves from other exercise DVDs. Instead, I enjoyed the relaxed, good-natured banter. The time just flew by.

I was a little bit scared with the title “Boot Camp”- made me cringe – but it’s so simple! Great break down and “pushing” me to the next level just felt like friendly encouragement. I recommend this DVD for anyone that is daunted by exercise- this will make you fall in love!

My favorite book has now been made into a Fitness DVD, could I ask for anything more!

Now they have developed an easy to follow DVD. It helped me to work on my more problematic areas like abs, legs, arms and butt. These girls will help give you that butt kicking workout to help get you in shape.

4 Stars Fun, different – a great end-of-the-day stress reliever
Here’s the thing – you should probably read through the books before working out with them. They have a distinct style of talking to their audiences and, from the look of some of the reviews here, some women weren’t ready for it.

I actually had a lot of fun with this work out. It’s not as strenuous as my normal morning routine, but if you ever come home from work stressed out or annoyed or just plain angry, this is a fantastic stress relieving alternative to grabbing that bag of chips. There’s a casual feel to it (the girls mess up the moves regularly) but I still broke a sweat. Anyone who puts their heart into it for 50 minutes is gonna get a workout. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

It’s a style that’s probably not for everyone, but I’m a fan. Their books and philosophy has had me dropping weight for months and feeling like a brand new person. I love these bitches!
